Best X13 Akimbo Pistols Loadout for Call of Duty Warzone 2.0

KontrolFreek has your six with the best weapon loadouts and tunings for Warzone 2.0. Next up in our Warzone 2.0 Gun Guide series is a gun that every player needs to have in their arsenal, if not on every loadout class: the X13 Akimbo Auto Pistols. 

As we know, Warzone 2.0 Perk Packages are preset. So, if you want Overkill on your custom class, you are locked into the perks offered by the Weapon Specialist Package: (Overkill, Strong Arm, Spotter, Survivor). This means that you are giving up highly beneficial perks like Ghost and Birdseye for Survivor, which is the worst ultimate perk. This is the reason why most players are choosing perk packages without Overkill, such as Specter: (Double Time, Tracker, Spotter, Ghost), Vanguard: (Double Time, Bomb Squad, Resupply, High Alert), and our personal favorite, Recon: (Double Time, Tracker, Focus, Birdseye). Using any of these popular perk packages means that we need a secondary weapon for our loadouts, and while we do like launchers and some of the single fire pistol options, launchers are more situational and may be good for one player on your squad to rock but not on every loadout, and single fire pistols are going to be harder to use for most controller players as you have to pull the triggers a lot to use them effective, which can make it harder to aim. Pistols also have the added benefit of being able to be fired underwater, which if you’ve ever watched some highlights or had a game finish with a water circle, you know how clutch this can be. These X13 Akimbo Pistols are full auto and with the ammo capacity, attachments, and tuning we provide, these pistols are the most reliable and dominant secondary in Warzone 2.0 currently. 

Attachments: 

The first and most important attachment you need on your X13s is the 33 ROUND MAG. This means that with 2 pistols we have 66 rounds of ammo before we need to reload. This should be enough to down 1 or 2 enemies in close-range fights, and that’s where we want to be with this gun. Therefore, we avoid the 50 Round Drum to keep our Movement Speed, Reload Speed, and Sprint to Fire Speed quick, making it easier to close the gap, reload quickly, and get the first shots off in most close-range gunfights. 

In the muzzle category, we’re going to throw on the FT STEEL FIRE silencer. This is going to keep us off the radar when we fire, while adding Recoil Smoothness, Damage Range, and Bullet Velocity. The best part about this attachment is that all the negatives affect aiming down sights behaviors and are therefore not applicable to akimbo weapons! 

In the barrel section, we recommend the XRK LUC-9. This barrel provides increased movement speed which is essential to closing the gap and engaging enemies at close range. This attachment also mitigates some of the negatives of using a 33 Round Mag. 

For lasers, this should come as no surprise but we are using the 1MW PISTOL LASER. This is the go-to laser for Akimbo weapons as it provides enhanced Hip Fire Accuracy, Hip Recoil Control, and Sprint to Fire Speed and only costs us a laser visible to enemies, but we’re going to be playing aggressive with these pistols, so the visible laser isn’t too much of an issue.

Lastly, in the Rear Grip section, you must equip the Akimbo attachment. This equips a second pistol, increases your hip fire spread and removes your ability to aim down sights, but the benefits far outweigh these downsides. The damage output at close range is unmatched. Look at an enemy at close-range, pull both triggers, and watch them get melted by these beastly pistols. 

Attachment Tuning 

We tuned the FT STEEL FIRE silencer for more Recoil Smoothness (+1.22oz) and increased Bullet Velocity (+0.84 in). 

For the XRK LUC-9 Barrel we improved Recoil Steadiness (+0.40 lb) and increased Damage Range (+0.36 in).
